NOFA Universal Data Element Clean Up

Every year we will be running reports for the NOFA. One of these reports will show the percentage of data completeness for each HUD recognized CoC in the 15 UDE fields.

Whenever an UDE is missing above 10%, data needs be cleaned up and fixed in order to meet the HUD guidelines for proper data completeness.

Be on the lookout for ICA to contact you in the upcoming days to assist in this clean up.

Veteran Status

Veteran status is used to count the number of clients who are veterans of the United States armed forces. Veteran status must be answered upon the creation of the client record for all adults and those that are 17 that will turn 18 while enrolled in the project.  A “yes” response should only be listed if the client is someone who has served on active duty in the armed forces of the United States. This does not include inactive military reserves or the National Guard unless the person was called up to active duty.
