2024 Point in Time (PIT) and Housing Inventory Count (HIC) Resources

The 2024 Point in Time (PIT) and Housing Inventory Count (HIC) will occur on Wednesday, January 24th. The PIT count is a count of individuals and households experiencing homelessness on a single night in January, while the HIC is an inventory of beds/units available to serve individuals and households experiencing homelessness.

The Institute for Community Alliances (ICA) is partnering with the North Dakota Continuum of Care (CoC) to provide resources to assist providers in ensuring accurate data collection and submission processes for the PIT and HIC.

2024 PIT/HIC Timeline

The online 2024 Unsheltered PIT Portal is used to provide unsheltered data for those who are experiencing homelessness in a place not meant for habitation.

NOTE: For those participating in the Sheltered count, you will be scheduling time with an ICA representative to provide your numbers for the night of January 24, 2024. These meetings will begin February 5, 2024, and links to schedule those meetings will be sent out on January 31, 2024.
