Institute for Community Alliances supports the Boise City / Ada County Continuum of Care with HMIS technical assistance, reporting, case studies and data analysis to support programming and efforts to positively affect homelessness and support vulnerable individuals.

3.917 Questions Guide

This is intended to assist intake and data entry staff who work with the set of questions called “3.917” collectively (or often referred to as the “Where did you sleep last night?” questions). These questions ask a client about the following: Residence Prior to Project Entry, Length of Stay in Prior Living Situation, Approximate Date Homelessness Started, Number of Times Experiencing Homelessness in the Last 3 Years, and Number of Months Experiencing Homelessness in the Last 3 Years.
